a Lil' note to sFiveThree

A peaceful night when I'd rather hide, I've thought so hard and now I've finally tried. A lil letter (short, sweet and sharp) for y'all, of gratitude, appreciation and much much more (: And nope, I ain't got a kawaiii picture of the FOTY to offer.

To my dearest S53,

Our two years journey together is finally coming to an end, and it's most sad that we've to part. Inevitable it is, that life brings us together and separates us cruelly. That's why we're forced to sort out our priorities time and again as we move on with our lives. In short, I've really enjoyed my two years with y'all, our lessons, our outings(however few ppl there may be), and our jokes. If I were to describe the class and my classmates as a colour, it'd be lavender.

The colour lavender denotes mystery. Without doubt, the many occasions of disappearance of our classmates have left many of us wondering where are they? Be it a short holiday, or sickness, or laziness or just the unexplainable absence, our class attendance has always fallen short of full. Haha, perhaps the class doesn't offer the factor that makes you want to turn up for lessons or what, but well, at least when we do turn up, we always participate enthusiastically during lessons and during lectures (evident from how we snatch up the front row seats).

Another trait of lavender is how it represents feminism in the form of a sweet and lighter hue of purple. Like huh? When there're more guys than girls in the class? Feminism? Well, to quote from Shaphan, "Now I know why the guys in the class are turning gay." The underlying reason is of course just total bullshit, but if the guys aren't really guys while the girls remain as girls, wouldn't it then be more feminine.

Nope, I'm not trying to incite resentment especially when this is probably my last post here (if it still exists). Our class really has a very conducive learning environment where we often help each other out. There're the ones who selflessly help others on their own accord and motivate us all to strive harder. Come next year when the school gets excellent results for literature, that'd be one of the results. Of course, if we were to compare with other classes in how they share all their tuition notes, we'd be inferior in some ways, but we've so many other traits.

That's why we're unique; something that the colour lavender suggests. We're unique in the way we have the most sincere classmates. We don't really see our classmates boasting of their good results, looking down on the inferior, or outcasting some ppl due to their race or nationality right? It's really rare that we've been so united or rather, so accomodating towards one another, having little or no conflicts within the class. To compare with other classes again, you might once again see us being slightly better than some yet worse than others.

The last point I'd wish to make is that our class has been most enthusiastic. Contrary to what I believe when I first stepped into the class, I've since felt otherwise. When I first knew S53, it was a far cry from my really enthu OG which I've been attached deeply to and hence the exuberance of S53 wasn't really felt. Yet, in months to come, it showed otherwise.

We've been most enthusiastic in our academics - how we occupy the front rows of the LT, and our frenzied discussions. We've also been most enthusiastic in our class chalets - the attendance of our class chalets have been almost perfect. Lastly, we've been most enthusiastic in learning - from how we've played mahjong, to how I've seen the most fervent learner who has spent his life in Wiki. It's a good thing, really! Although class outings have often been just the few same people, but it's good cos we get surprises once in a while, and it shows how enthusiastic we are about our studies.

Indeed, S53 has fulfilled the roles of a class for me. How we've learnt together, stuck together, played together, and still finding time to talk to each other even if our subjects or interests may be very different. There's lil much that I can ask for, other than more active participation in future class outings if any? Haha (: That said, thank you all, really, for being such a wonderful PURPLE class. I know I've left green out, but cos that's too boring alr.

With this, may I propose a SAT Study Camp which will be taking place after SDD which is on 2 December i think. This camp is just a short one night/two night stay, where we'll stay together under one roof to study for SAT while spending some time together. It'd be most beneficial for you to study SAT with the support of your classmates and as a form of relaxation. Studies have found that we work best when relaxed (see Sunday Times on 12 Oct), and hence it's with greatest pleasure to invite everyone to the one and only S53 SATS Study Camp. Consultants are also provided for the camp, and hopefully details of the camp will be up soon. Meanwhile pls give your replies and sign up to be a consultant! Gautam has already volunteered his services (:

To end it off, I'd like to wish everyone all the best for your A lvls. Jiayou with the studying in the next two weeks! Take a couple of days to relax when you've reached saturation point and most importantly, drink lots of water and do occasional exercise to keep yourselves fit and healthy! Hope to hear from y'all soon (:

Yours truly,
Zhi Han.

Update

Hi S53, here's a short update of life in VJ.

So common tests are here, all the way till Thursday. V47 for GP(V48 for KI); LT1 for Econs; Hall R10 for Phys; V47 for Maths; LT4 for Lit, and that's all our papers left :) Study for your papers and do well for them. Mr Chow will give us his different faces when we get our results. So good luck!

JTS is over and for those who went, pls pay $4. Daryl has depleted his account to $0.83, so pls do pay up. I know some people will treat these words as transparent, ya, but pls do pay up. Yes, we all say it's JTS and we shouldn't be paying, but they're still treating us right? Just that it's not a full treat... JTSF?

Holidays are coming in a weeks' time, and since CTs are over, we should have class outing right? I recall the last class outing where some ppl urged me to organise a reunion dinner. In the end, 8 guys turned up and we had a great meal at Manhattan Fish Market. Whee, we really need more enthusiasm from the class! Class outing or dinner in the holidays should be fine right?

Feeling Fab is coming up, so embrace yourselves for some fun! Teck Yeow and Jia Hui will have their hands all over each other >.<

Some class gossips...
In an unreserved manner, Xi Jing declared his liking for Clara to the class during GP lesson, with Mr Liew playing quite a part in bringing them together by uttering some words.
Our beloved "cute and innocent" CT Rep Eugene, has taken an emotional plunge, and is on a roller coaster mood ride, suspected to be caused by some girl(s) with a great voice. He was recalled to be sitting next to a girl and behaving intimately during Miss Meta's chem tutorial.
Han En has declared his affections for a girl while playing Mahjong, especially obvious when he keeps drawing the 1 Flowers and getting lots of tai for himself.
Teck Yeow has got better and sharper at giving people nicknames, namely Weasel, Fish and Jurassic Park. To find out who, or your own nickname, pls contact Tecky.
Jia Hui is loved :)
Daryl is dejected :(
Zhi Han has just posted.

JTS JTS JTS!!! =)

here's a few pics for y'all to enjoy first =)
there will be more coming! so stay tuned! =)

HEADLINES: COUPLE CAUGHT IN THE ACT
this series of photos were taken by an unknown papparazzi. the 2 targets were snapped in the midst of their romantic meal tgthr <3

the one in hot red outfit starts eating his meal, with his companion wanting to look at him yet not wanting to be seen doing so.

the guy on the left continues to browse thru the menu cos he seldom gets to eat 'edible' food. the one on the right is STILL resisting the temptation to look at his partner.

OOPS they discovered that photos of them are being taken! but nevertheless they give a cheerful smile. the guy on the right wants to grab his partner's hand but couldn't do it in time.

FINALLY, the guy on the left realises the intention of his shy partner, deciding to take the initiative by wrapping his warm hands round the other guy. and they live happily ever after <3
this is a true story of unconditional tender loving care. spread the love.
now the question is: WHO PLAYS THE ROLE OF THE GUY, AND WHO IS THE GIRL???
feel free to comment and give your opinions. a correct guess will earn you a chance to take part in the grand lucky draw.
P.S. the winner gets to choose who he wants a kiss from!!! (from the couple above that is)
your cute and innocent papparazzi signing off!!! =)
